Zaha Hadid is renowned internationally for her daring architectural projects. This evocative sculpture, titled "Solid.", was created in celebration of the 2005 exhibition, "25 Years of Deutsche Bank Collection" at the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin, and captures Hadid's signature style in a small scale form. In this piece, the rectangular block is transformed by oblong negative spaces that reshape the otherwise simple geometric form. Some of her major works include the Broad Art Museum, Rome's MAXXI Museum and the Guangzhou Opera House.
