英国大设计师 Alexander McQueen(亚历山大·麦昆)于1992年创立了自家品牌Alexander McQueen，主营服装、饰品、香水、家饰品等。最著名的作品非骷髅丝巾、骷髅衫莫属。特别是他的骷髅丝巾，带着大海航时代的烙印，简约别致，在设计中，利用骷髅图案演变出无数的变化，早已成为时尚的经典。另外，ALEXANDER MCQUEEN的骷髅头戒指、项链、手镯等配饰也风靡了极点。 McQueen把过去于Anderson Sheppard及舞台服饰制造商Bermans Nathans工作时学习到的英伦传统剪裁手工溶入了其个人设计系列，令其配合了细腻剪裁的后现代时装系列赢得外界一致好评。另外，McQueen更把于日籍设计师Koji Tatsuno及意大利名设计师Romeo Gigli担任设计师时得到的启发混入其设计上，并配合其传统英国裁剪手艺，令作品更完美。
